Fathers Day
Invite your Dad, your children and other family members to celebrate Fathers Day with you at BAC.
Let your neighbours and friends know that we are holding special services at 8.30 and 10.15am honouring fathers and invite them to come along with you.
Mother’s Day – Praise God for our Mothers
We take today to celebrate and affirm God’s gift of our mothers. God has not designed humans to be solitary but to live in communities of love. “God sets the lonely in families” (Psalm 68:6).
Motherhood is also painful. To those who have broken relationships with their mothers, we pray for reconciliation. To those who long for the gift of becoming a mother, we pray for trust, patience and for God to provide. To those mothers whose children are lost to the world, we pray for their conversion and salvation.
We thank God for the gutsy sacrificial women who have carried us, fed us, sweated for us and patiently served us for decades. They reflect the glory of the sacrifice of our King and God, the Lord Jesus.
